Stolen Faith
Stolen Faith is an interactive sculpture by conceptual artist Yeshé.
The piece is a product of the artist’s research in the theft of art from Nepal’s temples/shrines. Sculptures and carvings of deities are often stolen and illegaly exported out of the country; many finding themselves on sale in auction houses or on display in museums all around the world, such as the British Museum, Berlin Museum and Dallas Museum.
