Metamorphosis

Metamorphosis is a book by conceptual artist Yeshé, an adaptation of Franz Kafka’s text, Metamorphosis. It communicates Gregor’s [the protagonist’s] narrative of the changes in physical identity and how that translates mentally and emotionally in his character. The experimental and performative drawing methods allows the reader to gain a greater understanding of the conceptual ideas explored; and urges the you to empathise with the protagonist with the use of marks preserved on the pages, composition, rhythm and relationship between image and text.
